Students who are performing on Saturday, February 10th
Dear Parents of students who will be performing on Saturday.
If your child is in "Hard Knock Life" - If they can bring a bucket tomorrow and rags I would appreciate it. Promise you’ll get it back to clean on Saturday after the show. I can also use another broom if you could lend it to me too.
I know I've added the morning rehearsals at 7:30. I realize that it's difficult to change your schedule, however, as always when you commit to a performance invariably extra rehearsal time is always needed. Believe me, this morning's rehearsal was fabulous and it helped so much. I only have one small thing left to do with that song. It'll be finished AND polished by tomorrow.
For the boys who were nice enough to stay today. I am sorry you didn't get a chance to work. Tomorrow morning is your turn. I gave out the lyrics so please highlight your lines and memorize them. We'll go much faster that way. The song is intricate and people are coming in at all times so it's important to know your cues.
As I've told these students, this will give each one an extra credit grade in my class. It will ready them for our own Drama Showcase in March and most importantly, they will feel like a million bucks when they hear the applause they will surely receive.
Thank you for your support......
Schedule - 7:30 - 4:00. i appreciate all the parents who are prompt.
